[It is very, very hard to stay mad at Gideon when she's beaming horny at Harrow like that. Which is surely the point, but rude of her nonetheless. What she can still manage to feel is a burning shame at her own responses. The indignity of the praise and the coaxing fingers paradoxically thrills her, which makes her embarrassment worse in a feedback loop. She claws catlike at Gideon's bare back as her neck breaks out in goosebumps again. Her shameful surge of excitement spills over to Gideon.
